Daniel Camburn, L.Ac.
Doctor of Acupuncture (RI), Clinic Director
Daniel
Camburn is New York State licensed and board certified
in acupuncture and clinical herbal medicine. He has been
practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine since 1997.
He completed his undergraduate
studies in Biology at Kutztown University in Pennsylvania.
Subsequently, he earned his Masters of Science degree
in Traditional Oriental Medicine at the Pacific College
of Oriental Medicine in New York City.
After graduating, Daniel traveled
to China and Tibet to continue his studies. In Tibet,
he studied internal medicine in Lhasa. He then traveled
to Chengdu, China, to study at China’s premier herbal
University.
Since his return to the U.S. in
1999, Daniel has maintained a private practice specializing
in the treatment of infertility.
Daniel has been a full time faculty
member at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine
since 1999. In addition to teaching acupuncture
and herbal medicine, he supervised students during their
clinical rounds at the Pacific College of Oriental
Medicine’s health care clinic.
Daniel headed up Pacific College
of Oriental Medicine’s clinical internship program
at Yonkers General Hospital, in Yonkers, New York.
He was the Director of acupuncture at the Fortune Society,
and Greenwich House, both located in New York City.
Daniel is currently writing three
books on Chinese medicine. He has written numerous articles,
and continues to lecture frequently on the subject of
infertility and traditional Chinese medicine.
