Besides promoting a healthy life style, a consistent yoga practice will address your fertility needs at any stage of your process. We focus on a sequence of postures (asanas), breathing (pranayama), meditation and relaxation techniques developed specifically for you.

In addition to adding strength, tone and balance to your body, yoga addresses how you respond to the stress in your life and provides you with a path to discovering a more authentic sense of yourself.

My work specifically focus's on helping those trying to conceive, those who are currently pregnant and those who have recently given birth.

Yoga is an ideal choice for postpartum health! A gentle practice can resume within a week or two after a vaginal delivery. After a c-section, it is recommended that you wait at least 6 weeks to start a practice. Always get the "ok" from your doctor and listen to your body before beginning or resuming a yoga practice!

Highlights of a postpartum practice:

  • retrain and strengthen muscles, particularly the pelvic floor and abdominals
  • focus on core strengthening
  • restore, renew and energize
  • reconnect to a sense of your own body and its needs
  • improve circulation
  • identify whether or not a diastasis has occurred (a separation of the rectus abdominus muscle) and learn techniques to help it heal
